Patch Looking for Best Holiday Decorations

The McHenry County Patch.com sites are holding a photo contest to determine which household has the best home and Christmas tree decorations in the county.

Do you have a Clark Griswold in your neighborhood? Does your Christmas tree glitter and glow a little brighter and better than the rest?

McHenry County’s Patch.com websites are in search of the homes and Christmas trees in the county with the best, most over-the-top, most beautiful Christmas decorations. The winner will receive a Target gift card.

Here’s how you can enter (it’s simple!):

  • Log on to any McHenry County Patch.com website and upload that photo to this article. Don't know how to upload a photo to a Patch site? It's simple! All you need to do is sign up for the site by clicking on the top right corner "sign up" button. If you already are signed up, just log in and click on "add your own photos," which is located below the photo in this article.

  • You can read our official giveaway guidelines

The deadline for entering is Wednesday, Dec. 14.

Patch.com editors will select their favorite homes and trees as finalists and then turn over the voting to readers. Readers will able to vote on the McHenry County websites for their favorites. The house and tree with the most votes wins.
