Village is accepting applications from members of the community who want to serve on the Parks and Recreation Board.
The Lake in the Hills Parks and Recreation Board has two open seats available.
Newly elected village president Paul Mulcahy is accepting applications from LITH residents interested in serving the community and having a hand in shaping parks and recreation in the future.
The LITH Parks and Recreation Board is comprised of seven members who are appointed by the village president with the advice and consent of the LITH Village Board of Trustees.

Parks and Recreation Board members recommend recreation programs and ensure park development. The board meets the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m., according to the village.
