Huntley Vet Clinic Takes in 22 Cats

Clinic takes in 22 cats when woman falls ill and can no longer care for them.

After a Union woman—due to health issues—was no longer able to care for her 22 cats, the Pet Vet Animal Clinic in Huntley brought in the animals, which range in age from under a year to 22 years old, according to the Northwest Herald.

The Pet Vet, at 11901 North St. in Huntley, is planning to give the cats health exams and the animals will be available for adoption or short-term foster, according to the article.

The Northwest Herald reports those willing to adopt or foster a cat or make a donation to the Animal Services and Assistance Program can call 815-568-2921 or visit the Animal Services' Facebook page.
