Holiday Tree Collection Ends Friday

Trees removed by the village after Friday may incur fees.

A reminder that Friday is the last day for the holiday tree collection.

-Trees must be cut to six feet or less [in height].

-All tinsel and decorations must be removed.

-Do not bag the tree.

-Uncover the tree if it becomes buried by snow.

Tree removal will occur on regular garbage pick-up days and for the first two weeks of the new year, there is no fee associated with removal.

Trees removed by the village after the first two weeks of the year may incur fees and are not guaranteed to be chipped or recycled.  If you have any questions regarding tree removal procedures or regulations, contact the Village of Algonquin at 847-658-2700.
