Trick-or-Treat Hours for Algonquin, LITH
The village of Lake in the Hills will again host its Safety Town trick-or-treat event at the Lake in the Hills Police Department on Halloween.
Trick-or-treat hours for Algonquin and Lake in the Hills will be held on Halloween.
In Algonquin, trick-or-treat hours will be open from 3 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 31 while recommended trick-or-treat hours in Lake in the Hills will be from 2 to 8 p.m.
Halloween falls on a Wednesday this year.

In addition, the village of Lake in the Hills will again host its 9th annual safe trick-or-treat event for children at the LITH Police Department's safety education center, 1109 Crystal Lake Road, from 3 to 6 p.m. on Oct. 31, according to a village of LITH news release.
Friendly monsters and other Halloween characters will hand out candy to kids in a miniature town set up behind the safety education center, according to the press release.
