Grand Avenue Big Band Coming to Arlington Heights

The November 7 show will feature big band classics and hits from the 1940s.

You can listen to the greatest hits from the 1940’s and the big band era live in Arlington Heights next month.

Grand Avenue Big Band is coming to Metropolis at 1p.m., November 7. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased at MetropolisArts.com or by calling the Box Office at (847) 577-2121.

The big band show will feature an Andrews Sisters-style female vocal trio that sound like the famous sisters. This Chicagoland band is one of a kind. They’ve even opened for the World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra.

Grand Avenue Big Band is part of the Live Music Series at Metropolis, which brings some of the highest level musical talent to the Chicagoland area. More Live Music shows include Kingston Trio, A Very Dino Christmas, BritBeat, Stayin’ Alive: The Bee Gees Tribute, and Take Me Home: The Music of John Denver. 

Metropolis is located in the heart of Chicago’s northwest suburbs in downtown Arlington Heights at the intersection of Campbell and Vail Avenue (111 West Campbell Street). Street parking is available. Free parking is available in the public garage behind the theatre.
