'Got Talent?' Acts Wow Crowd at Sunset Festival

Lake in the Hills residents showed off their talent in the third annual "Got Talent?" contest at the Summer Sunset Festival.

Hundreds of people gathered at Summer Sunset Festival Sunday to see some of Lake in the Hills best talent perform live on stage.

In total, 18 acts showed up for the third annual “Got Talent?” contest. Acts varied from singers, dancers and a pianist.

Organizer Kim Brey said she’s been working on putting the event together since October. All entries were accepted into the competition.

Ryan and Lena, who performed the '80s song “I Remember You” by Skid Row, took first place and took the grand prize of $75. Alexis Nguyen played her guitar and sang "Stuck On You" by Sugarland. She placed second and took home $25.
