“People often underestimate the number of Girl Scout Cookies they want to order and end up wishing they’d ordered more. Or they don’t know a Girl Scout who can help them,” Director of Product Sales Madelon Koerner said.

The new app is available to iPhone or Android users and is completely interactive. Not only you take a quiz to find out what your “cookie personality” is, but you can also share everything via Facebook, Twitter and email.

“The Girl Scout Cookie Program teaches girls business and leadership skills,” GSNI CEO Vicki Wright said.  “And this new method of reaching customers teaches them about the benefits of using relevant technology to achieve their goals.”

Girl Scouts will be at the cookie booths on weekends Feb. 25 through March 20. All eight varieties of cookies will be for sale for $4 per box. All booth locations accept cash and checks payable to Girl Scouts.

To download the app, simply search for "Cookie Locator" in the iPhone App Store or Android Marketplace. Another way to order cookies is to email cookies4you@girlscoutsni.org, and your order will be passed on to a local Girl Scout.
