Foodie Friday: Battle of the Blogs

Two extraordinary recipes. Which one will you make this weekend?

Blogging is really catching on at Algonquin Patch, and we don't want you to miss one. But we are all busy, and we don't have time to look at everything that comes through the top spot.

Today is especially exciting because we have two awesome bloggers, both with delicious recipes that are possible to make.

One comes from Chef Aaron, who gives a tribute to the Queen of Culinary, Julia Child. He shares with us , which he claims is far superior to Pot Roast because of the technique. "If there’s anything that really grinds my gears about food and the process of preparing food, it’s the crock-pot." Read more to find out why Chef hates the crock-pot.

The recipe comes from Algonquinite Mary Fioretti. She calls it "An easy pop-in-the-oven dinner for the middle of the week or a fancy weekend meal with no fuss." The pictures look amazing and she assures us that it is a simple recipe.
