Children and families from McHenry and Kane Counties are invited to attend a free Children’s Safety Expo on Saturday, June 28, from 9AM-Noon at Heineman Middle School, 725 Academic Drive in Algonquin.

State Representative Mike Tryon (R-Crystal Lake) is partnering with Senator Karen McConnaughay (R-St. Charles) for the event. “This expo promises to be a lot of fun for kids of all ages,” said Tryon. “In addition to the almost 50 booths at the event, children and their families can enjoy the Traveling World of Reptiles Show at 9:15AM and a “Touch a Truck” display, featuring squad cars, dump trucks, a boom truck, ambulance, fire truck and more.”
