This event is set for 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, and will focus on having fun as a family and exercising together, according the village Recreation Department.

All preregistered walkers will receive a T-shirt walk day morning.

The Downtown Algonquin Partnership will be holding its annual Fall Harvest Day. The event will take place in Cornish Park following the Village of Algonquin’s 5K walk and feature historic walks of Old Town and kids crafts.
