Parade Grand Marshall Nominations Being Accepted

The Algonquin Founders’ Days Committee is accepting nominations for parade Grand Marshall. Grand Marshall Nominees must live in Algonquin, be available to participate in the parade Saturday morning July 26th, and may not be an elected official. Please email your nomination using the subject line “Grand Marshall Nomination” by June 15th, 2014 to info@algonquinfoundersdays.com and explain what the person has done or why they deserve to be honored. The Algonquin Founders’ Committee will make the final selection. The 54th Annual Algonquin Founders’ Days Parade will take place July 26th, 2014 starting at 11:00am and run the usual route West down Route 62 turning South on Route 31 Main Street.
