Algonquin Area Public Library welcomes Barry Bradford, a US Presidential Award winner with local roots, to its (edited: Eastgate Branch, 115 Eastgate Drive) Sunday, February 23 at 2pm. Bradford, a suburban Chicago high school teacher and National Teacher of the Year recipient, is best known for leading movements to reopen two cold cases from the Civil Rights Era – including the notorious “Mississippi Burning” triple murder in 1964.
