'Living Well for Women' Series

Crystal Lake  — As part of its “Living Well for Women” series, McHenry County Department of Health (MCDH) will offer presentations to increase awareness of health issues for women aged 50 years and older.  This free interactive series will be held every Wednesday at 10am to 11:30am, from February 5 through April 9, at the offices of Senior Services Associations Inc., 110 W. Woodstock Street, Crystal Lake.  Class space is limited. Call to register at 815-356-7457.

 

Each weekly session with explore a different topic such as cardiovascular health, nutrition, physical activity, stress management, aging, prescription medication and consumer health. The goal of the program is to help women develop skills for a lifetime of good health. To get the most benefit, instructors encourage participants to attend all ten classes.
