Waiting Wednesday: 30 MEN in 30 DAYS

This week's 'Waiting Wednesday' features two boys waiting for a Big Brother in Harvard. We still need more Big Brothers to reach our goal for '30 MEN in 30 DAYS!'

This week's 'Waiting Wednesday' features two boys waiting for a Big Brother in Harvard. We still need more Big Brothers to reach our goal for '30 MEN in 30 DAYS!'

Kellen – Waiting for 6 months
Waiting Little Brother Kellen, from Harvard, is the oldest of five children. He is only 10 years old, but takes on a leadership role at home. He is sweet, responsible, and very smart. He was chosen to attend Space Camp at the Challenger Center because of his great academics. Kellen can be a little shy at first, but is very talkative once he warms up.

Kellen would like a Big Brother so he can get out of the house and take a break from babysitting his brothers. He would like a Big Brother to take him to the pool, amusement park, fishing, or bowling. Kellen is very excited about getting a Big Brother!

Kellen’s mother sometimes feels she can’t do enough for him and hates that he has had to grow up too fast. Kellen also does not have any positive male role models in his life.

Nate – Waiting for over a year

Seven year old Little Brother Nate likes to play army and tag with his older brothers. He is the youngest of four children and rarely gets to see his dad. His siblings are already matched in our program, and he would love a Big Brother of his own.

Nate lives on an isolated country road in Harvard, and doesn’t have many friends outside of school. His mother would like a Big Brother to help teach him respect and improve his social skills. Nate likes to play outside and wants a Big Brother who could teach him to play baseball!

Kellen and Nate, like all of our waiting Little Brothers, could use a positive male role model to spend time with. Do you have a few hours, a couple times a month to spend some quality time with a Little Brother?
