Samantha Bolet, Miss McHenry County, to Draw BIG BUCK$ Raffle Winners
Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County is very excited to announce that Miss McHenry County, Samantha Bolet, will draw the BIG BUCK$ Raffle winners at Jersey Mikes LITH, next Thursday!
Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County is currently selling tickets for the BIG BUCK$ $10,000 CASH Raffle. In addition to the GRAND prize, there will be 14 other winners. The drawing will take place on Thursday, September 27th at 1:00 p.m. at the Jersey Mike’s in Lake in the Hills (285 N. Randall Road). The winner does not need to be present to win. Tickets are $20 each or six for $100.
Samantha Bolet, Miss McHenry County, will draw the Raffle winners! Samantha Michelle Bolet is a 17 year old Senior at Crystal Lake South High School. Currently residing in Lake in the Hills, she has had an exciting past couple months.
This young lady won the title of Miss Lake in the Hills this past summer, wrapping up in August by winning the Title of Miss McHenry County. Her accomplishments lead her to compete in January for the title of Miss Illinois County.

She has been involved with several volunteer and charity programs such as Feed My Starving Children, The American Lung Cancer Association, Live Out Loud Charity, and Autumn Leaves Memory Care Center, in addition to being a leader in her school as Colorguard 2011 Captain, Debate 2011 Captain, and Class Treasurer.
She states, “It’s important to give back to your community and through Big Brothers Big Sisters, everyone that is a part of it has that opportunity. Whether it’s on a small scale or ‘big’ scale, it could change someone’s life and I’m excited to become a part of that.”

This year, 3,000 tickets have been printed. If all tickets are sold, then the odds of winning by purchasing one ticket are 1 in 200.
The prizes that are available this year are:
- One Grand Prize - $10,000 cash
- Two winners – Pair of tickets to the Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers game on Dec. 16 at Soldier Field
- Three winners - $100 gift card to Bonefish Grill in Algonquin
- Four winners - $50 gift card to Meijer
- Five winners - $20 cash back
Tickets are available from any Big Brothers Big Sisters staff member, at the Big Brothers Big Sisters Office between 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday at 4318-B W. Crystal Lake Road in McHenry, IL or online at www.bbbsmchenry.org/raffle.
