Meet Our Campaign Spokesperson: Deputy Police Chief Eugene Lowery
We are proud to have Eugene Lowery as our Campaign Spokesperson!
Gene is extremely passionate about our mission. He grew up in a single parent household and is grateful to friends and neighbors who mentored him in his youth.
Gene has been a law enforcement officer since 1979 serving in dozens of roles including Patrol, SWAT, Detective, Lieutenant, Captain, Major, Undersheriff and Deputy Chief. He has a Master’s Degree in Law Enforcement Administration, is an FBI National Academy Graduate, and has served in the United States Army.Gene currently serves on the Child Advocacy Center Executive Board and the McHenry County Underage Drinking Task Force.

Gene’s hobbies include studying martial arts, Aikido, Tai Chi and he enjoys scuba diving. Gene has hunted alligators and has pictures and a skull trophy to prove it! He is very proud of his two successful adult children, and is honored to be a part of our campaign by committing to become the first Big Brother as part of this initiative!
