Another Day, Another Winter Weather Advisory

The National Weather Service is calling for cold temperatures tonight along with some periods of light snow.

Blah. Blah. Blah.

Seriously, who isn’t tired of hearing about a weather advisory every day? If it isn’t a snow advisory, it’s a wind chill advisory. The NWS is reporting this winter may be one of the top three snowiest in recent history. Locally, the average snowfall this month is 10 inches, according to reports.

The porch is constantly filled with dripping snow from boots, coats, gloves and hats. I can't find the kids' gloves, even if we put them in their hats and stuff the hats in their sleeves. Everyone is sick every other week. And it's cold. All the time. While it was kinda fun to nest earlier this month, it's losing its charm.

Enough is enough Mother Nature.

I'm not a hater, I usually enjoy winter. But not this year. Winter isn’t even almost over. While Groundhog Day is coming up, that little rodent is probably going to see his shadow and cement our fate for the longest, worst winter of all time.
