Celebrate the holiday season with your family and neighbors at Holiday Rock on the Fox!Activities will kick off with the Community Tree Lighting Ceremony and Candy Cane Hunt at Riverfront Park.

The Village of Algonquin Events and Recreation Department cordially invites you and your family to join us at Riverfront Park on Saturday, December 3 from 4:30pm-6:00pm for our annual Holiday Rock on the Fox. This FREE event will include the Community Tree Lighting Ceremony, Candy Cane Hunt sponsored by Edward Jones, Cookies & Cocoa sponsored by Café Firefly, music by the Algonquin Middle School Choir, a visit from Merry Maskers holiday Dickens Carolers and a visit from Santa Claus sponsored by Gourmet Kernel. Festivities will begin at 4:30pm. The Candy Cane Hunt is open to children under 11 years of age and will begin promptly after the Tree Lighting Ceremony (approximately 5:00pm). This event will occur rain or shine. There will not be a rain date for this event. Parking is available in nearby municipal lots and on the side streets.
