Monday: Cover to Cover Youth Book Club

For Grades 3-5. We will discuss Shredderman: Secret Identity by Wendelin Van Draanen. Register at the Youth Services Desk and check out a copy of the book at the Checkout Desk.

Tuesday: Drawing with Zentangle

Tuesday, March 12          7 – 8:30 pm

Think you can’t draw? Well, think again! Zentangle is a popular drawing style anyone can use to produce beautiful, unique pieces of art. Artist Christine Thornton will show you how it’s done. Registration is required to attend this program. Please register online @ www.aapld.org or in the Library.

 

Wednesday: Tropical Twist

Wednesday, March 13   7 – 8:30 pm

Add some flair to your garden with a few tropical plants. Sharon Yiesla of Horticultural Services will give you tips on which plants to choose and how to care for them. Registration is required to attend this program. Please register online @ www.aapld.org or in the Library.

 

Thursday: Preschool Movie

Thursday, March 14        10:35 am

Preschoolers, their parents/caregivers and siblings are welcome to attend Preschool Movies. The same movie will be shown both days, Wednesday and Thursday, of that week.  No registration is required to attend.

 

Friday: Baby Storytime

Friday, March 15               10 – 10:30 am

Babies 23 months and younger and their parent/caregiver are invited to join us for stories, fingerplays, songs and play time. No registration is required to attend.

 

Saturday: Spring Book Sale

Saturday, March 16         10 am – 2 pm

Over 30,000 books at great prices! Join us at the Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale @ Eastgate!
