On Sunday, October 28 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm, Bob and Arden Spooner of the Lake in the Hills Historical Society will be speaking about Lake in the Hills Ford School History & Frontier School House at the Algonquin Area Public Library District’s Eastgate Branch located at 115 Eastgate Drive, Algonquin, IL 60102.
This program will be an enjoyable learning experience for all ages. The Spooner’s will provide historical background of the area and the historic Ford School.
The program will also include a reenactment of a one room school house, including clothing, activities and artifacts demonstrated by Miss Alexa.
