Got Kindle? Get ebooks from the Algonquin Area Public Library now!

Library ebooks became available this week for Kindle owners!

Kindle owners can now join the ranks of their fellow ebook readers and borrow ebooks from the library!

Jay Marine, Director, Amazon Kindle said,  "Libraries are a critical part of our communities and we're excited to be making Kindle books available at more than 11,000 local libraries around the country."

The Algonquin Area Public Library is a member of the North Suburban Digital Consortium (Overdrive) that provides these books for downloading.  We share our ebook and audiobook selections among eight local library collections, including Crystal Lake Public Library, Dundee Township Public Library, Ela Area Public Library, Indian Trails Public Library, McHenry Public Library, Park Ridge Public Library and Skokie Public Library. Sharing resources is one of the library's most popular services!
