Algonquin Library Hosts Book Lover's Sizzling Summer Book Sale

30,000 books are ready to sell!

The Friends of the Algonquin Area Public Library would like to announce their Summer Book Sale July 19-22.

It will be held at the library’s Eastgate Branch location at 115 Eastgate Drive, Algonquin, IL (1/2 block off Route 62 behind the 7-Eleven).

The Friends of the Library volunteers carefully organize by subject and alphabetically. All of our sales are listed and consistently rated EXCEPTIONAL on Book Sale Finder.

A recent survey conducted by Book Sale Finder said “Public Libraries and other charity groups sponsor book sales throughout the year where over 60 million donated books are available for sale.” www.booksalefinder.com

Bargain hunters and book lovers take note: browse thousands of adult and children's fiction and nonfiction books in hardcover and paperback.

Most books, donated by the public or withdrawn from the library collection, will be priced $1-2 or less. Special books, CD books and video games will be marked 3$ and up. Stock your personal library—or find some unusual gifts, this book sale will offer something for everyone.

Visit our "Book Bistro" hospitality room next door Friday, Saturday and Sunday to take a break during your shopping where gift books and jigsaw puzzles are available for purchase.

Thursday, July 19    4:00 pm -7:00 pm ($10 entry fee per person, this day only)

Friday, July 20          4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Saturday, July 21   10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Sunday, July 22         1:00 pm - 4:00 pm (½ price day)
