Algonquin Area Public Library Gets Into the Spooky Spirit!

Get your family into the spooky spirit with youth programs at the Algonquin Area Public Library.

The Algonquin Area Public Library gets into the spooky spirit this fall with library programs for youth.  Take a look at these upcoming programs:

 

Spooky Saturday: Saturday, October 20 2 - 3:30 pm

Let's have some fall fun as we read almost scary stories, do the monster mash and play musical pumpkins.  We will also decorate a small pumpkin to to take home.

Children may wear their costumes.  Registration is required to attend this program.  Please register online at www.aapld.org or in the Library.

Family Spooky Storytime: Thursday, October 25 10 am

Dress up in your costume, hear some Halloween and fall stories, and come celebrate the season.  We will parade through the Library and a few giveaways will be handed out.

No registration is required to attend.

 

Baby Not-So-Spooky Storytime

Friday, October 26 10 am and Monday, October 29 6:30 pm

Dress up in your costume, hear some Halloween and fall stories, and come celebrate the season.  This program is for Babies 1-23 months with a caregiver.

No registration is required to attend this program.

 

Pumpkin Palooza: Saturday, October 27 10:00 - 10:30 am

Autumn is here!  Drop in to this special storytime for families, and enjoy stories, fingerplays and songs that celebrate this festive time of year.

Children may wear their costumes.  No registration is required to attend this program.

 

Monster Mash Dance Party: Tuesday, October 30 6:30 - 7:30 pm

Get your dancing feet ready!  Families with young children are invited to come dance to some old-time favorite songs and spooky tunes at our Halloween dance party!

Light refreshments will be served.  No registration is required to attend this program.
