Today: Warmer Weather, but Showers Moving in Later

Today's the day to get out and enjoy the weather before rain showers move in.

Happy Tuesday, Algonquin and Lake in the Hills!

Today's a good day to get outside and enjoy the weather before rain showers move in later around 6 p.m. The forecast calls for cloudy skies - hopefully, the sun will make an appearance never the less!

Temperatures should be in the 40s in the morning, climbing to 50 degrees by noon and topping off at about 54 degrees, according to Accuweather.com.

The rain showers may stick around until Thursday, and forecasts as of Monday predicted showers to end by the time trick-or-treating starts Thursday.

If you haven't had a chance to check out the two, over-the-top decorated Halloween houses in the area, be sure to swing by this week - preferably tonight before the rain hits. The action begins at nightfall.

Check out "Haunt 31" on the west side of Lake in the Hills. It's amazing - and the kids will love it (unless the kids don't like snakes, spiders, skulls, ghosts and zombies!). Click here for more information.

Over in Algonquin, more ghoulishly fantastic fun awaits at Halloween Town. With a front lawn cemetery and animated witches, visitors are invited to roam the yard and enjoy the sights and sounds of Halloween. Click here for more information.

Have a great day!
