Kids in District 300 have returned to school, and it's finally starting to feel like summer! Moms and dads, you will have to hit the pools and beach by yourselves today, as temperatures are expected to climb to 88 degrees.
You can also beat the heat by eating dinner by the Fox River. Port Edward Restaurant is hosting "Doggie Dine Out" for patrons who want to bring along their pooch. It's a charity event for A Heart for Animals Inc. (more information below).

Dine on the Port Edward patio with your dog Enjoy being on the river while benefiting A Heart for Animals, Inc. If you bring your pet, Port Edward will generously donate 15% of your dinner tab to the animals at A Heart for Animals. 5pm to dusk.
