There will be a 50% off all items Yard Sale on June 9th (5-6:30pm) on Stoneybrook Ct. (off of Huntington Dr. N - turn at Stoneybrook Park-you can only turn one way)

There will be: Furniture (2 leather couches). Sporting goods.  Wood/Glass Dining Rm set w/chairs.  Cherry Sauder Exec Office U desk. Kids clothes and toys. Clothes (adult/teen/ladies). Purses. Shoes.  Signed Jersey & football by a Chicago Bear player. Costume Jewelry & jewelry/crafting supplies.  TV's.  $1 items galore.

ALL MUST GO!!! DONATIONS accepted so whatever you want to give for an item between 5&6:30pm today is what will be donated to VFS.

Purging items - cleaning house - and trying to raise some money to help out our local Veterans of McHenry County Veterans and Family Services Drop-In Center.  VFS helps Veterans and their families with goods, services, food pantry, therapy/counseling, peer support as well as job searches and more. 

The McHenry VFS Drop-in center is trying to make the center a place where Veterans can do resumes, search for jobs and look up their information on the computers that are available. Home Depot donated the new carpeting at the center and Aaron Lakin donated his time to do the painting with paint from BEHR.

They are looking to redo the desk/work station area but with no funds to do so it is difficult. (the desk we have for sale is too large and does not offer what is needed so hoping someone will buy it so we can get the kinds they need)

Lake-McHenry Veterans and Family Services is funded by a grant by SAMHSA which was recently cut by 55% and is also a partner with Family Services among others.

This might not be much but every little bit helps!!! 

Hoping to be able to have enough to redo the desks/office/workstation areas.  Minimum 20% of all sold will go to VFS.
