 ers an area of 216 acres and houses around 450 species of animals. Brook
 field Zoo uses moats and ditches\, instead of cages\, to separate animal
 s from visitors and from other animals. The zoo was also the first in Am
 erica to exhibit giant pandas. Come out for the day and enjoy everything
  the zoo has to offer.
