Cakes for a Cure
Colonial Cafe & Ice Cream, 2555 Bunker Hill Dr, Algonquin, IL | Get Directions »
$0.01
I am writing on behalf of "The Rack Pack" and Colonial Café. The Rack Pack is a team of ladies who are participating in the 3-Day 60 mile walk for Breast Cancer this month. Colonial Café, located at 2555 Bunker Hill Drive in Algonquin, is graciously supporting our team by hosting "Cakes for a Cure" on Thursday, August 2. Colonial Café will be making Pink Pancakes and selling them for a penny all day, from opening to closing. A beverage must be purchased in order to receive the pink pancakes for a penny each and this event is dine in only.
Our Team will be out in front of the Algonquin Colonial Café to create awareness, educate patrons, and collect monetary donations to help us get closer to our fundraising goal of $9,200 to walk in The Susan G. Komen 3-Day on August 10-12 in Chicago. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a life-changing journey and many things to many people. No other breast cancer event in the country asks you to walk as far or raise as much money as the 3-Day. It is simply the boldest thing you can do in the fight to end breast cancer.
Please stop by and see us on Thursday August 2nd.
