Fall is in the air and at The Barn, fall is our favorite season.

The crisp fall air combined with the new fall annuals, fresh dug trees and shrubs and fall merchandise seem to make our Garden Center just sparkle. Being garden center employees, we love to plant and freshening our summer planters is at the top of the list.

The oohs and aahs you hear from our employees can act as a directional tool to the best and brightest items in stock! Mums, Kale and Asters take a starring role in most containers but we also like to use perennials such as Efanthia and Huechera and even some veggies for a more unique look.

This year we have added some fun new mum toppers and bushel baskets that can be used in a variety of ways.

Fall Container Gardening Competition

If you want to learn from the best, swing by the Barn at 5:45 pm. today, Friday, Aug. 31. We will be hosting five teams from local garden clubs in a fall containter gardening competition.

Watch the teams quickly choose, design and plant a fall container in just 20 minutes. We are certain their ideas, creativity and flair will offer something for everyone! Attendees will receive a shopping discount for the evening and will be eligible to vote for their favorite container. Be at The Barn at 6 pm sharp to watch the show!
