E-Book Classes at the Algonquin Area Public Library

Do you read e-books?  The Algonquin Area Public Library District’s electronic resource OverDrive provides accessible e-books for patrons to download items anytime, anywhere. 

Learn how to check out and download books from their collection in one of these informational e-book classes:  

 

Library Books for Your e-Reader: Saturday, September 22 10:00-11:00 am   

Learn how to check out, download and transfer Adobe e-books from OverDrive to compatible eReaders such as Nook or Kobo, using Adobe Digital Editions free software.  Bring your device, USB cord and a valid library card.

Library Books for Your Kindle: Saturday, October 6 12:00 - 1:00 pm    

Learn how to check out and download a Kindle book from the Library’s growing collection of e-books on OverDrive.  Bring your Kindle, USB cord, Amazon password, and a valid library card.

Library Books for Your iPad: Wednesday, October 17 2:00 - 3:00 pm      

Learn how to use the Library’s free OverDrive Media Console app to download e-books and audiobooks for your iPad.  Bring your iPad, Apple ID password and a valid library card.
