Your Go-To Guide to Algonquin's 2011 Founders' Days

The festival runs from Thursday, July 28, through Sunday, July 31, in Towne Park.

 

In its 51st year of festival fun, Algonquin’s Founders’ Days weekend is set to kick off at 5 p.m. Thursday in Towne Park, 100 Jefferson St.

On Friday, after 5 p.m. and Saturday after 1 p.m., the cost of entrance is $4 for adults and $2 for children. On Sunday, after noon the cost of entrance for adults is $2 and $1.

Anticipate Road Closures — There will be numerous detours and delays while traveling through Algonquin from July 28 through July 31.

Fireworks information — Spectators will not be allowed to remain on the bridge on Route 62.
