Two Woodstock Teenagers Killed In Crash

The McHenry County Sheriff's Department is investigating a single vehicle crash in which two 16 year olds from Woodstock were killed.

Two 16 year olds from Woodstock were killed in a single vehicle crash Sunday morning in the 14000 block of Davis Road.

Alec J. Kaiser and Jacob S. Norys were killed when the vehicle they were riding in left the roadway at about 2:02 a.m. The car, a 2010 Hyundai Elantra, was traveling west and left the south side of the road, striking a brick pillar and a tree, sheriff's police said.

Kaiser and Norys were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash and airbags did deploy. The McHenry County Coroner's office pronounced Kaiser and Norys dead at the scene.

U people just don't get that kids will be kids. I had the pleasure to know one of them for many years and I have to say I never met a nicer person. I know for a fact there parents would not allow or aprove of there actions. Just to think that somone would point the finger or blame there parents make me sick to my stomach to see it is worse . R.I.P. kids

Alec was my neighbor and one of my kids best friends...this was a unimaginable accident and I pray that the woman who left that horrible message realizes how incredibly hurtful and inappropriate that comment was. As a parent regardless of any circumstance losing a child is inconceivable and my prayers will be with both families who are suffering a tragic loss. Alec was sincerely a loving boy and he will be missed everyday in our home. Forever in our hearts. We love you Alec

I would like to say as a parent of four boys I am devastated to hear of this horrific accident. My 2 oldest boys went to school with Those kids. Now is definitely not the time to try & figure out how, what, & why this happened. People who have negative comments really need to keep them to themselves. This is the time to RESPECT BOTH FAMILIES PRIVACY & have a heart most of all! It can happen to anyone. Tomorrow isn't promised to anyone. I've never had the pleasure to meet those young boys but I am deeply saddened by this! My heart goes out to their families....

I can't even imagine the thought of losing a child! And there isn't any amount of pain u can compare it to. I hope their families are able to stay strong and get through this tough time. I'm sure they're going to need everyone's strength to help them through this. To b friends an hold them up emotionally, mentally, & physically if needed. Those boys hardly started their lives but during the time we were blessed with them here on earth, I know there are a lot of sweet, funny, exciting, & wonderful memories everyone was left with. And that's what everyone has to keep alive, their memories! They were so young, but GOD called them back home to be with him.. Nobody will never know the answer "why" this happened. Our prayers & hearts go out to both families!

To those of you choosing to criticize the families rather than find it in your hearts to extend a sympathetic hand...it must be wonderful living in your perfect candy land world. Accidents happen, life is not fair, bad things do happen to good people, impulsive kids make poor choices, the list goes on and on. Hindsight is certainly 20/20 the thing to do now is provide kind support to those who have lost so much, not sit on your throne and judge. Godspeed Jacob & Alec.

I lost both of my step sisters a long while ago in a horrific single car accident. Everyone always wants to find the negatives, but no matter what two young boys lost their lives. Prayers and thoughts for the families and friends involved.

For Dee Lee, Those words you wrote are extremely cold and insensitive. Instead of seeing how sad and tragic this is, you point a finger at these parents and pass judgement. You were once a teenager and I'm sure you made poor decisions and fortunately for your still alive. Kids make bad decisions. Sadly these boys lost their lives. These parents don't need you or anyone for that matter to place blame on them. Who are you to pass judgement.

Get real people. Dee Lee is only saying what you dont want to hear. These two, wonderful, awsome, sweet little angels, defied their parents, snuck out of the house, defied judicial authority breaking curfue, stole a car, and ultimately got each other killed. Its not an accident when you directly IGNORE the rules and the laws. And you are all just sympathy sucking because you know deep inside, your kids all have it in them too, to behave the same way. Youre not sorry, youre all scared.

It is reprehensible for you to react in such an incentive regard. Imagine if it were your family would you place blame or accept Gods divine providence and move forward not regretting but rather loving the time spent while they were with you. Think before you comment I am disgusted in your judgement for it is unfounded and cruel. I will pray for everyone involved and you as well to cultivate your heart and mind with a less judgmental perspective. In Jesus name I pray.

To Erin yes to a degree you are correct does that make you happy to point out other peoples fears and weaknesses it seems to me the answer is yes. Life is a series of decisions and some are by nature unfortunate for our well being but we all make mistakes and not showing sympathy is not a strength you possess rather a weakness. Good luck with your life I truly wish you well even though you seem uncaring and judgmental. How we treat the least of our brothers and sisters is how we treat God. Find Jesus.

Can't believe there is any debate even going on here?????? What is wrong with people? Obviously has never lost anyone close to you. To be able to talk about 2 people like this. Doesn't matter age, death is a tragic thing for everyone involved. For the negative people, curfew had nothing to do with it, and yes that is the correct spelling for curfew. They are ALL accidents, no matter what and nobody wants to be in an accident.
