Teens Arrested at Dominick's on Retail Theft Charges

The Lake in the Hills Police Department responded to the following reports from Wednesday and Thursday:
Drunken Driving Arrest
A 28-year-old Lake in the Hills man was pulled over at Jewel-Osco, 103 S. Randall Road, around 2:53 a.m. Thursday, according to the Lake in the Hills Police Department’s daily bulletin. The man was arrested on a drunken driving charge and also cited for improper lane usage. He was later released on bond.
Domestic Battery Reported
Police were called regarding a domestic battery that reportedly occurred between a brother and sister in the 4800 block of Thistle Lane around 5:17 p.m. Thursday, according to the daily bulletin. No report was filed.
Teens Arrested for Theft at Dominick’s
Two 14-year-old Lake in the Hills boys were arrested Wednesday evening at Dominick’s, 101 N. Randall Road, on charges of retail theft, according to the bulletin. Police were called to Dominick’s at 5:04 p.m. One of the teens also faces an obstructing a peace officer charge. Both teens were later released to their parents.
Three-Vehicle Crash
Three vehicles collided at 4:35 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Randall and Miller roads, according to the bulletin. No injuries were reported though property was damaged in the accident.
