The village of Lake in the Hills chose winners in it annual house decorating contest.
The village chose the Rivas family's home at 134 Hilltop Drive in Lake in the Hills as having the scariest Halloween decorations. The Kelly family's home at 1024 Burr St. in LITH was selected as having the cheeriest decorations.
Other homes that were nominated in this year's annual house decorating contest include: 922 Brant Drive, 102 Acorn Lane, 1522 Monroe Street, 421 Starwood Pass and 1 McKenzie Court.
