It's time to vote for this week's Chowdown Showdown champion!
For this week's McHenry County Patch Chowdown Showdown, we asked readers where their favorite place in the county is to get Italian food.
Thank you to everyone who submitted their votes by commenting in our article from earlier this week.
This week we have five finalists: Biaggi's in Algonquin, Galati's in Cary, Cucina Bella in Algonquin, Da Baffone Cucina in Crystal Lake and Bimbo's Ristorante in McHenry.
You can cast your vote for your favorite spot by submitting your answer in the poll below.
Voting will continue through 12 p.m. Friday. Check back first thing Saturday morning to find out if your restaurant has been chosen as this week's Chowdown Showdown Champion for having the best Italian food in the county!

I get so many sample stuff for free its awesome. Actually it is not difficult to find them just search online for "Get Official Samples" It is the best way!

Cucina Bella has the Best Italian food around. Their Veal Piccata is fabulous.

I had crappy service at Cucina Bella both times that my husband & I went there, so I can't vote for them. Biaggi's is a chain, so I won't vote for them either. My favorite is Mandile's in Algonquin. They're a little slow, but everything that we've tried out has been fantastico.

My family and I have been to Cucina Bella many times for dinner. Their food is fantastic and the service is always wonderful. I can not tell you enough how much we love this place. If you have never been I encourage you to give it a try you will not be disappointed!

Agree Totally. Galati's is good, and you get a lot of food for the money, but Cucina Bella's quality is just superior to everyone else.

I've no idea how I missed this all week long. I saw the end-of-year round-up of all the past winners, etc., but didn't see this. If I had, I would have nominated and voted for Galati's in Cary.

You all missed the best Italian food around--it's da Buffone CL.
