Local Crime: Lake in the Hills Man Charged with Trespassing

Local police responded to reports and made the following arrests in Algonquin and Lake in the Hills between June 26 through June 28.

Driving While License Suspended

Police arrested Marie De Los Angeles, 29, of Crystal Lake, on charges of no valid license and disregarding a traffic control device at 4:31 p.m. June 26 at Virginia Road and Route 31 in Lake in the Hills. Angeles was released on bond. 

Criminal Trespassing to Land

Police arrested Matthew A. Sorich, 19, on charges of criminal trespassing to land and resisting a peace officer at 5:25 p.m. June 26 at Jaycees Park, Oakleaf Road, Lake in the Hills. Sorich, 3 Salford Court, Algonquin, later was released on bond.

No Valid Driver's License

Police arrested Hugo Trujillo, 27, of Woodstock, at 4:15 p.m. June 28 at Virginia Road and Trinity Drive in Lake in the Hills on charges of no valid driver's license and disobeying a traffic-control device. Trujillo later was released on bond. 

Driving While License Suspended

Police arrested Michael W. Clark, 21, at 9:46 p.m. June 28 at Lakewood Road and Bordeaux Drive in Lake in the Hills on charges of driving while license suspended, expired registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper use of registration. Clark, of 5390 Sullivan Pass, Lake in the Hills, later was released on bond. 

Injury Accident

A vehicle collided with a pole at 4:44 p.m. June 28 at Algonquin Road and Hilltop Drive. The female driver was taken to Sherman Hospital.

Retail Theft

Police arrested Kaitlin Binetti, 20, and Angelica F. Ravenna, 20, on charges of retail theft at 4:11 p.m. June 27 at Kohl's, 734 S. Randall Road, Algonquin. Binetti and Ravenna, both of St. Charles were both released on a personal recognizance board. They are expected in court on Aug. 1 in McHenry County.
