Lake in the Hills Police Reports: Car Accidents, Injuries, Lost, Stolen

LITH Police release reports through March 12, 2013.

 

Note: The following information was obtained from Lake in the Hills Police reports.

Car Accidents

*Two cars were involved in an accident near Costco, 250 N. Randall Rd., at 2:35 p.m. Thursday, March 7. Property damage only was reported.

*Two cars were involved in a collision at Randall and Miller roads at 6:56 p.m. Friday, March 8. Property damage only.

*Two cars were in a collision at Miller and Randall roads at 5:03 p.m. Saturday, March 9. Property damage only.

*A driver reported at 5:08 p.m. Monday, March 11, that his/ or her car was struck at Chesak School, 10910 Reed Rd. The offender left the scene, police said.

Injury, Illness

*Police were called to Costco, 250 N. Randall Rd., at 12:12 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, to assist with a 2-year-old girl who had fallen and suffered a head injury. The child was transported to Sherman Hospital in Elgin.

*Police were called to a home in the 400 block of Harvest Gate at 4:55 p.m. Monday, March 11, to assist with an 8-year-old girl who was suffering from an allergic reaction. The child did not transport to a hospital, police said.

Police responded to Marlowe Middle School, 9625 Haligus Rd., at 5:52 p.m. Monday, March 11, to assist with a 13-year-old boy who had a neck injury. The  boy was transported to Centegra Hospital in Woodstock for treatment.

Lost

A backpack, computer and calculator were reported lost at 12:32 a.m. Saturday, March 9, in the 300 block of Plum Street. The items were later located, police said.

Theft

An XM Radio, iPhone and wallet were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 4800 block of Bordeaux Drive. The items were reported stolen at 6:50 p.m. Sunday, March 10.
