Voters will decide on candidates in many local township races during a primary election on Tuesday, Feb. 26.
There are three contested races for Grafton township including, township supervisor, township clerk, township assessor and township highway commissioner.
Grafton Township covers a portion of Algonquin, Lake in the Hills, Huntley, Crystal Lake and Lakewood. More on the Grafton Township election and the other independent candidates running in the Consolidated Election in this Patch article.
The general election for local races will be held on April 9.
