Doggy Disc Challenge Comes to Bark Park
The village will host the challenge at 9 a.m. Saturday.
The village of Lake in the Hills will host its first Doggy Disc Challenge at the Lake in the Hills Bark Park at 9 a.m. Saturday.
As a part of the challenge, dog owners will throw a disc to their dogs in different scoring zones to see how many points they score by catching the disc, according to a village press release. Each team gets 60 seconds to score the most points.
To register, bring current rabies and distemper vaccination records or current dog park membership ID along with a $3 fee. Pre-registration is preferred, but registration also will be accepted starting at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
The top three winners will receive awards.
