The village of Lake in the Hills recently announced winners in its photo contest.

"The Squeamish Frog Hunter," a photo taken by Leslie Fisher, received the most votes in the village of Lake in the Hills photo contest.
"Morning Walk" a photo taken by Heidi Sprock, took second place in the village's photo contest.
"Wander Through Barbara Key Park," a photo taken by Heidi Sprock, took third place in a photo contest.

Leslie Fisher's above photo submission of "The Squeamish Frog Hunter" was recently voted as the image that best captures life in Lake in the Hills in the village's photo contest, according to a village of LITH press release. 

The photo received 31 percent of the 176 total votes collected, according to the news release. 

The photo was taken of Leslie's son Jeffrey in April 2011 catching frogs with his bare hands at Turtle Island, 290 Indian Trail in Lake in the Hills, according to the news release. 

The second-place photo was taken by Heidi Sprock and titled "Morning Walk." Sprock also took the third-place photo, "Wander Through Barbara Key Park."
