Crime Reports: Police Bust LITH Underage Party; Teen Arrested for Domestic Battery
Algonquin and Lake in the Hills Police Department reports from the past several days.
The Algonquin and Lake in the Hills crime reports contain basic information on incident and arrest reports provided to Patch.com by the Algonquin Police Department and Lake in the Hills Police Department.
An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
9:19 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Andrew D. Pagan, 23, at Tom's Farm, 10214 Algonquin Road, for driving under the influence of drugs, expired registration, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Pagan of Carpentersville was later released on bond.
11:10 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Brandon Marquette, 20, in the 1000 block of Spruce Street in LITH for hosting an underage drinking party and underage consumption of alcohol. Marquette, of 1114 Spruce St. in LITH, was issued a notice to appear. Police also arrested the following teens for underage consumption of alcohol and gave them a notice to appear:
- Nicholas Craig, 19, of 1212 Sycamore St. in Lake in the Hills
- Martin Olvera, 19, 425 Big Cloud Pass in LITH
- Jessie Cocanig, 19, of 310 Wander Way in LITH
- Crane F. William III, 19, of 1225 Windy Knoll Drive in Algonquin
- Justin R. Marinaro, 19, 1651 Highmeadow Lane in Algonquin
- Ryan L. Stetz, 19, 406 Meadow Lane in Lake in the Hills
- Daniel A. Stevens, 19, 651 Brookside Ave. in Algonquin
- A 16-year-old Carpentersville girl
- A 16-year-old LITH girl
- A 17-year-old LITH girl
2:30 a.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Brandon V. Holleran, 29, at Huntington Drive and Chestnunt Court in Algonquin for driving under the influence, improper lane use and improper turn. Holleran, of Oakview Drive in Algonquin, was released after posting $100 and his Illinois Driver's License and is next expected in court on Dec. 5 in McHenry County.
3:29 a.m.: LITH Police arrested Susan Castellanos, 28, of Huntley at Algonquin Road and Harvest Gate in LITH for driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and improper lane use.
4:45 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Steven J. Mathieu, 48, at Meijer, 400 S. Randall Road in Algonquin, for retail theft. Mathieu was released on a notice to appear and is next expected in court on Dec. 19 in Algonquin.
12:50 a.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested Josue J. Perez, 26, at Oakleaf Road and Algonquin Road for driving while license suspended, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, failure to give aid or information, defective windshield and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Perez was later released on bond.
1:06 a.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Nancy A. Payne, 56, at Route 31 and Greenwood Avenue in Algonquin for driving under the influence, driving under the influence over and improper lane use. Payne was released after posting $100 and her Illinois Driver's License and is next expected in court on Dec. 5 in McHenry County.
1:37 a.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Oscar Garcia, 19, at Route 31 and Wilbrandt St. in Algonquin for driving under the influence, improper lane use, no valid driver's license, unsafe tires and no proof of insurance. Garcia of Northbrook was transported to McHenry County Jail when unable to post bond.
4:00 p.m.: Algonquin Police arrested Christie L. Shay, 30, at the Algonquin Police Department, 2200 Harnish Drive in Algonquin, on a warrant out of McHenry County for contempt of court. Shay was released after posting $500 and is next expected in court on Nov. 22 in McHenry County.
5:25 p.m.: Lake in the Hills Police arrested a 16-year-old Lake in the Hills boy in the 3600 block of Sonoma Circle in LITH on two counts of domestic battery. He was turned over to parents.
