Caption This: The Cat's in the Bag
In our weekly Caption This contest, we ask you to come up with your funniest caption to this great photo.
We had nearly 20 suggestions submitted this week for the photo of a cat standing guard on her owner's back during bathtime. Thanks so much to everyone who participated! It was definitely a tough decision.
The Patch judges, after much deliberation, awarded the title of best caption to Craig Doherty. His caption: "It's about time. She smells like the dog."
Both Craig and Karen Alpert, who submitted the hilarious photo, will get a digital copy of the photo with the caption affixed. (You can check out the final product in the thumbnail above.)
For next week, we’ve got a super cute photo submitted by Carolyn Alder of her cat hiding in a Starbucks bag. You can start submitting your captions now!
Here’s how it works:
* In the comments section below, write in your best idea for a funny caption for this photo. Comments must be in by noon Friday.
* The esteemed Patch judges will pick our favorite and announce it Monday, along with a new photo to caption.
* Both the caption writer and the reader who submitted the photo will get an emailed copy of the captioned photo.
