Public Indecency

Police arrested a 60-year-old Algonquin man at Barbara Key Park, 9431 Pyott Road, at 4:19 p.m. Thursday on charges of public indecency and disorderly conduct. He later was released on bond. 

Hit and Run

Police responded to a hit and run in the 600 block of Anderson Drive at 1:24 a.m. Thursday. Two vehicles were involved. Only property was damaged. The incident is under investigation.

Burglary

Police received a burglary report from Lil Scrapper LLC, 1531 Imhoff Drive, at 11:27 a.m. Thursday regarding items that were missing from the business. The burglary is under investigation by the reporting officer. 

Driving While License Suspended

Police arrested a 20-year-old Lake in the Hills man at Polaris Drive and Randall Road about 5:04 p.m. Wednesday on charges of driving while license suspended and improper lane use. He later was released on bond. 

Wanted on a Warrant

Police arrested a 30-year-old Crystal Lake woman in the 3100 block of Impressions Drive at 6:34 p.m. Wednesday on a McHenry County warrant for failure to appear for a traffic offense. She later was released on bond. 

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

Police arrested a 45-year-old Lake in the Hills man at Walgreens, 100 N. Randall Road, at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and obscenity. 

Domestic Battery

Police arrested a 30-year-old Algonquin man in the 1300 block of West Algonquin Road for domestic battery at 2:37 a.m. Monday. He was taken to McHenry County Jail. 

Driving Under the Influence

Police arrested a 24-year-old Crystal Lake man in the 800 block of Brandt Drive at 5:05 a.m. Monday on charges including driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with blood-alcohol content exceeding .08, resisting a peace officer, improper turn at an intersection, no valid insurance, illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver and failure to notify the secretary of state of an address change. He later was released on bond. 

Driving While License Suspended

Police arrested a 54-year-old South Elgin woman at Blackhawk Drive and Algonquin Road at 11:05 a.m. Monday on charges of driving while license suspended, driving with suspended registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. She later was released on bond. 

Battery

Police conducted a follow-up battery arrest of a 14-year-old Algonquin girl at the Lake in the Hills Police Department, 1115 Crystal Lake Road, at 4:25 p.m. Monday. She was released to a parent.
