Blotter: Area Man Arrested for Battery at Moretti's

The Lake in the Hills Police Department reports for Monday through Wednesday.

 

Battery

Police arrested a 21-year-old Hampshire man at Moretti's Ristorante & Pizzeria, 220 N. Randall Road, at 2:29 a.m. Monday on charges of battery, criminal trespassing to property and resisting arrest. He later was released on bond. 

Criminal Damage to Property

Police received a report at 9:45 a.m. Monday of an overhead door on a shed and a bulletin board on a concession stand that were damaged at Leroy Guy Park, 200 S. Annandale. The criminal damage to property report was turned over to the Lake in the Hills Police Department's investigations team. 

Identity Theft

Police received a report on Monday from a Lake in the Hills woman who believed someone had opened a loan in her name. 

Unlawful Acquisition of Controlled Substance

Police received a report at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday regarding an unlawful acquisition of a controlled substance. The report is under investigation. 

Warrant Arrest

Police arrested a 24-year-old Hoffman Estates man on a warrant from the Wheaton Police Department for hit and run. The man was arrested at Virginia Road and Main Street at 12:06 a.m. Wednesday and later was released on bond. 

Driving While License Suspended

Police arrested a 26-year-old Lake in the Hills man at Pyott Road and Menominee Drive about 8 a.m. Wednesday on a charge of driving with a suspended license. He later was released on bond. 

Driving While License Suspended

Police arrested a 43-year-old Lake in the Hills woman at Hilltop Drive and Willow Street at 12:01 p.m. Wednesday on charges of driving while license suspended, operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. She later was released on bond. 

Driving While License Suspended

Police arrested a 19-year-old Lake in the Hills woman at 7:47 p.m. Wednesday at Algonquin Road and Harvest Gate on a charge of driving while license suspended. She later was released on bond.
