Bianchi Announces Run for Re-Election at LITH Country Club
The McHenry County state's attorney was acquitted twice on corruption charges.
McHenry County State's Attorney Lou Bianchi announced Thursday he will run for his third term.
Bianchi has been indicted and acquitted twice on corruption charges. The most recent acquittal came earlier this month.
The Northwest Herald reports Bianchi, a Republican, announced his run for re-election at the Boulder Ridge Country Club in Lake in the Hills at Bianchi's annual Fest Italiana fundraiser. His current term is up in November 2012.
