Bianchi Announces Run for Re-Election at Boulder Ridge Country Club

The McHenry County state's attorney was acquitted twice on corruption charges.

McHenry County State's Attorney Lou Bianchi announced Thursday he will run for his third term.

Bianchi has been indicted and acquitted twice on corruption charges. The most recent acquittal came earlier this month.

The Northwest Herald reports Bianchi, a Republican, announced his run for re-election at the Boulder Ridge Country Club in Lake in the Hills at Bianchi's annual Fest Italiana fundraiser. His current term is up in November 2012.

Lou Bianchi is a good "States Attorney" in my estimation and he is a devoted public servant in protecting our senior citizen population, particularly with 'elder abuse'!
I will be supporting Lou Bianchi as he seeks reelection in 2012 for the office of State's Attorney for McHenry County and I urge citizens of McHenry County, regardless of political party, to vote for the candidate with the experience, dedication to prosecuting wrongdoers and who has demonstrated his perseverance in seeking justice for the good citizens in our communities. That candidate is Lou Bianchi, our current State's Attorney.
