I used to take my dog to the LITH Bark Park until we had a run-in with a dog that was acting aggressive as we entered the park. My dog was in the holding area and one of the dogs approached the fence barking and growling. The dog actually scaled over the fence and attempted to attack my dog. Luckily, we were able to avoid a larger problem. When I approached the dogs owner (who was apparently too busy engaging in conversation to come over and diffuse the situation) his reply was: (laughing) "Oh, he thinks he owns the place". I reported this to the park district, I don't know if they did anything about it or not. Since the dog is a regular at the park, we decided to stop going there.
