Algonquin Police: Theft at Life Time, Retail Theft, Leaving Accident Scene

Police reports from the week of Feb. 18.

 

 

Note: The following information was obtained from Algonquin Police Department arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

Retail Theft Arrest

Shenee Pearson, 31, of 1415 Abbott Drive, Apt. 3, Elgin, was charged with retail theft on Feb. 18, police said. Pearson was arrested at Walmart, 1410 S. Randall Road, reports stated. She was released on a notice to appear in court on March 27.

Theft at Local Fitness Center

A Lake in the Hills man, Jeramy C. Cruz, was arrested and charged with theft on Feb. 19, police said.

Cruz, 24, of 186 Cool Stone Bend, was taken into custody at Life Time Fitness, 451 Rolls Drive. He was released after posting $150 and given a court date of March 27 in McHenry County.

Traffic Citations in Crash

Lorenzo Segovia, 64, of 1320 Greenridge Ave., Algonquin, was charged with no valid driver’s license and leaving the scene of a crash on Feb. 18, according to police.

Segovia was taken into custody at the Algonquin Police Department, 2200 Harnish Drive.  He was released after posting $150 and has a March 27 court date in McHenry County.
