Who will be responsible for the future care for Lynn Cameron—the 19-year-old Algonquin woman who was left in a Tennessee bar by her mother—is yet to be determined, according to the Knoxville News Sentinel.

Questions remain over who will care for Lynn Cameron, a 19-year-old developmentally disabled woman from Algonquin whose mother, Eva Cameron, recently left her at a Tennessee bar.
Eva Cameron, 45, of Algonquin told the Northwest Herald she left her daughter at the Big Orange Bar in Caryville, Tenn., on June 28 so she would become a ward of the state and receive assistance from Tennessee. Eva Cameron said Illinois does not provide enough assistance for disabled adults.
Lynn Cameron suffers from multiple disabilities and has the mental capacity of a 2- or 3-year-old child, according to media reports.
Tennessee court officials on Friday requested The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation look into and clarify whether charges can be filed against Eva Cameron, according to the Knoxville News Sentinel. An earlier article reported no charges were expected in Tennessee since Lynn Cameron was technically an adult.
Meanwhile, officials in Tennessee are trying to determine who is responsible for caring for Lynn Cameron. She currently has a temporary placement at the Michael Dunn Center in Kingston but that was given on an emergency basis, according to the Knoxville News Sentinel.

An Algonquin woman told police officials she intentionally left her disabled daughter at a bar in Tennessee becuase "she was no longer able to care for the teen," according to the Chicago Tribune.
Police in Caryville, Tenn., spent 10 days trying to identify a special needs teen allegedly abandoned in a local bar by her mother.
After receiving a tip from an unidentified person, police finally determined the teen is 19-year-old Lynn Cameron, of Algonquin, according to a story in the Northwest Herald.
Police said Lynn Cameron was left June 28 by her mother, Eva Cameron, in the Big Orange Bar in Caryville, a small town located north of Knoxville, the Northwest Herald article states.
Eva Cameron will not face criminal charges in Tennessee for her alleged actions, according to the Tribune. Meanwhile, Algonquin police are trying to determine if the mother should be charged in Illinois, according to the Tribune.
Lynn Cameron, a special needs individual, could not communicate to police who she was, or how she was left behind at the bar.

Unfathomable that a mother could do such a thing! Other children?! They should be taken from her as that is child endangerment! I am outraged to hear no charges were made against her. Lynn might be of legal age but cannot CLEARLY take care of herself and is probably mentally an age closer to 3-4. Would u abandon a 3 or 4 year old at a BAR?!

let's not forget why this child is disabled in the first place. it's because when she was a child her parent's were not watching her on a florida vacation and she fell into a pool and by the time someone got to her she had severe brain damage. also check thew algonquin illinois police record from a year ago or so and you will find where she was arrested for hitting this child with a spoon. eva and dean cameron are very sick people.

I agree what she did was wrong but the final outcome will be that she gets the care she needs and deserves. She was in fact born with CP. Bob should be ashamed of himself for adding details that are unfounded and untrue.

maybe, MAYBE, if she had left her at like a doctors office or a hospital or a church, it wouldn't seem so horrible. Leaving a young girl at a bar!!!??? What if some drunk idiot took advantage of her and raped her?
